Spring Sparkler Exits
Doing a sparkler exit in the Spring can sometimes be quite challenging because of the weather and other factors. We will detail some important points, so that your Spring sparkler exit can be as seamless as possible.
Exit Location
Weather is something that you have to factor in when having a Spring sparkler exit. Make sure that you have multiple locations planned to have your sparkler exit. If you choose a location that is not covered you need to make sure that you also choose an alternate location that is covered in case it ends up raining on your wedding day.
Some locations to look for are; under trees, under a pavilion, in a party tent, an open area or parking lot. If you are choosing an open area or parking lot, there are very few limitations unless it becomes really windy or rainy. If you are choosing a location that is under cover, there are some things that you need to consider. You need to insure that you have about 10 feet of clearance above everyone’s heads. This is so you have room to hold your sparklers high enough so that the bride and groom can successfully navigate the exit. If you’re doing your exit in a tent or pavilion you have to make sure that it is tall enough and that there is enough room for all of the guests that would like to participate. You may need to limit the number of guests that are allowed to participate.
Even though our sparklers are low smoke, we do not recommend using them indoors at any time.
Lighting the Sparklers
Sparklers can be difficult to light especially if it is windy. The easiest and best way to light sparklers is with a small torch. Matches, lighters, and other devices just won’t cut it. We suggest a butane torch. After you get some sparklers lit using the torch, split off into smaller groups and use the already lit sparklers to light the unlit sparklers. Just touch the lit sparkler to the unlit sparkler and they will ignite instantaneously.
What Sparklers?
We recommend using our 20” or our 36” depending on where you choose to have your sparkler exit.
