AGE OF PURCHASE: 16 years of age
LEGAL: Fountains, flitter sparklers and ground spinners – those produce only smoke, sparks or fire and which do not explode, eject balls of fire, fly into the air more than 12 inches or travel more than six feet on the ground. Consumer fireworks including bottle rockets, Roman candles, firecrackers and certain aerial fireworks are legal with a permit.
ILLEGAL: Cherry bombs, Monday through 80’s and larger and any illegal firework that’s been modified are prohibited.
SELLING PERIOD: June 23 through July 6.
PENALTY: The possession of Illegal fireworks in Oregon is a Class B misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of $2,500 and/or six months in jail.
